The conference will include panel discussions on topics: “Monks, yogis, lay practitioners (transformation of cultural and social status)”, led by Anatoliy Kolesnikov, DSc in Philosophy (Saint Petersburg) and “Buddhist education in Russia: yesterday and today” – led by Elena Leonteva, PhD in History (Moscow).

The conference programme provides plenary and section sessions.
For participating in the conference please send the following materials until August, 1, 2014 to the organizing committee, veradronova@gmail.com:
- Your PAPER (ready for publication) in an electronic version, format Word for Windows;
the font should be Times New Roman, font size 14, line spacing 1,5, the margins 2,5 cm. The
volume of your paper is expected to be maximum 15000 symbols. Please specify your full name
and the city in parentheses before the title in the right top corner. For example: I.I. Ivanov
(Moscow). The title should be placed in the center of the next line. References should be placed
in the text, in square brackets, and contain the surname of the author of the quoted work, the
publication year and the page number, all separated by commas. For example: [Ivanov, 2005, 214].
The Reference List has to be placed after the end of the text alphabetically. Headers, page
numbers and footnotes containing references are not allowed. Semantic clarification remarks are
given in parentheses in the text. For example: Truth State (Sanskrit: Dharmakaya). - The ABSTRACTS in size of maximum 500 symbols in English (in a separate file).

- need for accommodation for the period of the conference;

INFORMATION FOR THE PARTICIPANTS
The payment for participants of conference is 500 rubles (conditions and payment details will be
reported to participants after receiving of application and texts).
Traveling and living expenses are to be covered by the delegating organization.
After the conference a collection of articles will be published.
The right to select materials for publication is reserved to the Organizing committee.
